Glanbia Brand Docs

Motion

Motion

Our motion system is an extension of our brand marketing communications. Whether graphics focused or videography, the production of our motions elements should reflect the personality traits outlined in our brand guide.

Guiding Principals

Content

The content and subject of our motion design should reflect the core elements of our photography guide.

  • Interactions - Friendly and engaging
  • Compositions - Inclusive to the viewer
  • Casting - Diverse and relatable
  • Lighting and color - Warm and welcoming
  • Locations - Similar to Glanbia settings

Energy Horizon

When introducing the Energy Horizon, it should function as a secondary element with a warm embrace in the composition. When possible, add subtle motion to the bands to express the energy we emphasize in everything we do. The Energy Horizon should always provide the sense of rising rather than enveloping the composition.

Typography

Introducing dynamic typography into our motion design can increase interest and emphasize key moments. Avoid overly complex transitions. When possible type should be introduced from the bottom of the screen to reinforce the concept of the Energy Horizon. Type should glide in smoothly with ease and efficiency.

Key takeaways

  • When incorporating type, use approved brand typography
  • Transitions should be subtle and fluid
  • Introduce subtle hints to the Energy Horizon through movement from bottom to top
